Golden girl Kate Moss goes Greek goddess for star-studded fashion spectacular
Kate Moss was every inch the golden girl as she arrived at glamorous actions of the New York fashion calendar. The supermodel glittered in an off-the-shoulder gold dress and matching turban-style circlet. Model accompanied on the red carpet by designer Marc Jacobs.Kate Moss posed with Marc Jacobs at the Costume Institute Gala at New York's city Museum of Art. The gala evening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art ushered in the museum’s spring 2009 presentation.
Kate appeared to be going for the Greek goddess look in her shimmering toga-inspired outfit. There was stiff rivalry. From a host of stars at what is regarded as the Big Apple's part of the year. Prize for most fabric would have gone to Heidi Klum.
Heidi Klum, who made quite an entrance in a lavish, midnight blue dress that extended far behind her as she walked up the stairs. British Liz Hurley went for a comparable style, looking radiant in a flowing peach gown that appeared to be decorated with a rose prototype. There was plenty of blue on the red carpet too, with Cindy Crawford, Donnatella Versace, Katy Perry and Brooke Shields all wearing gowns.
Hotty Madonna also turned up to the event, apparently having opted for humour over glamour. Her outfit, consisting of thigh-high boots, a tiny ruffled dress and a strange blue headdress, could have been inspired by Puss in Boots.
