Star Wars live-action TV series. Upcoming TV Star Wars live-action TV series is a science fiction television series currently set to debut in 2009 or 2010. The project, which has not yet given an official title, was first announced in April 2005 by Star Wars creator, George Lucas at Celebration III fan convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. The series will be set between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. There will be an expanded Universe production set in the fictional Star Wars galaxy. The series will be determined during the 19-year period between the films Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (19 BBY-0 BBY) and will focus on minor characters in the Star Wars galaxy, rather for who can be seen prominently in movies.
One of the ideas is that we will have multiple series going on for about two to three years. "This supports a description of Lucas as" a show that is divided into four shows, focusing on different characters. "Production will focus on minor characters from the Star Wars galaxy, rather than the main characters from the movies. Originally, 100 for an hour-long episode was proposed, but at Celebration Europe in July 2007, producer Rick McCallum explained that it can run up to 400 episodes, and "this is something that can go on for years.
