Must resume dialogue for peace sake

In an interview given to the Munich security conference, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said it was necessary for both India and Pakistan to resume dailogue for peace in South Asia.

The most important thing is that India and Pakistan have to live as good neighbors. Our government, a democratically elected government, began a policy of normalization, and we did the witch addition to Mumbai unfortunate incident that caused the hiccup, and it is a violation in the composite dialogue. We want to get over that as soon as possible, and we will continue the dialogue with India because we believe that if we want development in South Asia, if we want regional peace, as normally friendly relations between Pakistan and India will play a significant role, "he stated.

About issuance of a report will be published by the Pakistan next week on his investigation in November's militant attacks in Indian city of Mumbai, Qureshi said his country would openly share the results with Pakistan's friends, because we want our studies to be fair, transparent and open for an investigation because the government of Pakistan is serious in prosecuting persons who are responsible for the Mumbai event, "he said.

The relationship between nuclear India and Pakistan have been tense since militants killed 179 people in Mumbai on Wednesday 26 November 2008. India blame Pakistan banned list-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LET) for the attack in the commercial hub, and said that there would be support from the Pakistani security agencies.
