Months ago, Katie Holmes said that he looked drawn and tired 30 years go.
But Katie Holmes silenced every opponent last week after pulling off a stunning transformation for the Japanese premiere of Tom Cruise's film Valkyrie.
Now it has emerged that for Mrs Cruise, beauty indeed comes at a price.
Costly makeover: Katie Holmes is said to have spent £30,000 to transform herself for the Japanese premiere of Valkyrie last week.
The mother-of-one is said to have splashed out £30,000 on the incredible makeover, which took more than two days to execute.
While holed up at the Ritz-Carlton in Tokyo ahead of the red carpet appearance, Katie was reportedly treated to intensive pampering sessions by a team of beauty experts.
It took six hours to have long hair extensions put in, which came with a £2,000 price tag, according to a U.S. publication.
She also apparently spent £7,000 in spa treatments, £20,000 in dental veneers and further £1,000 for premium make-up.
It certainly gave the actress back her sparkle, which seemed to have faded in recent times as the result of a rumoured Scientology detox.
The punishing purification diet, which consists of herbal drinks, is thought to be a prelude to having a second child.
For Katie, the pricey makeover was money well spent.
'She was happier than she's been in months,' a source told America's InTouch magazine.
And fans were impressed too, with one observer telling the publication: 'She didn't have a wrinkle on her face, her hair was perfect, and she had the body of a supermodel.
