BSNL Blackberry Phones for 3G services in India

With 3G services launch of MTNL in Delhi and 3G service by BSNL to provide high-speed data and video streaming. State-owned Bharat Sancha Nigam Ltd (BSNL) said on Wednesday that it will launch its BlackBerry services by next month.



"We have all the approvals. and will launch BlackBerry services by April," BSNL chairman and managing director Kuldeep goyal said. Currently, BlackBerry in India is available on Airtel, Reliance, Tata Indicom and Vodafone.

The handset is likely to be available on the BSNL at the end under BSNL executive. While negotiations for the BlackBerry is in the advanced stage, BSNL-BlackBerry-Pearl-8120 Presently only BSNL has awarded the 3G spectrum, while Airtel and Vodafone, to the sole supplier of the iPhone 3G, no 3G frequencies assigned yet.

So that Apple may also be interested in moving with BSNL for 3G services in India.
BlackBerry phones will be available with BSNL is: BlackBerry Storm 9000, BlackBerry Curve, BlackBerry Pearl 8120 and BlackBerry 8700g. BSNL Blackberry Phones. BSNL to introduce BlackBerry in the 09 April.
