Sony Walkman Series launches New NWZ-X1000 with OLED Touch Screen and WiFi

Sony is launching the new Walkman NWZ-X1000 series Video MP3 players, to challenge the iPod touch. The Walkman NWZ-X1000 features a 3-inch OLED touchscreen display, WiFi connectivity and integrated noise cancellation.Sony’s Walkman X-series has integrated web browser and is able to do YouTube streaming. The X-series Walkman will be available in early Summer.NWZ-X1000

The iPod Touch will have a legitimate competitor when the Walkman X1000 comes out. The touchscreen Walkman is a 3-inch OLED touchscreen PMP that boasts wireless Internet and fancy noise-cancelling technology. The iPod Touch may have the App Store, but the X1000 has a better screen and arguably better media playback features. It plays WMV, MPEG-4, AVC and MP3, WMA, AAC, which is pretty standard.
 
The rumored Touchscreen Sony Walkman leaks on Gizmodo (Via OLED-Display) as Sony Walkman NWZ-X1000. Looks like Gizmodo removed the story, but the product image and the few details of the NWZ-X1000 are now already all over the web. Update: Sony NWZ-X1000 Walkman is official .Apparently the Wifi enabled Sony Walkman NWZ-X1000 will come in 16GB and 32GB .
