Samsung Thinnest Ever HD T.V. At CES

CES Expo in Las Vegas and already leaks game is started with Samsung executives tell me that they will launch a new HD-TV, which is less than 6.5cm thick and 2 cm thinner than it appeared together on last year's CES show. Samsung is to reveal a flat screen HDTV measure ling found that 6.5-inch on this week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. TV is reported to be between 6.5mm and 7mm over its width, and has an LED (Light Emitting Diode) backlight. The new models will incorporate Samsung's Motion Plus technology (200Hz) and Samsung have LED backlighting, but the latest model, Samsung has built tuner or receiver, according to Electronista spot models will come with a separate external tuner device.

PC World reported today that Samsung has managed to cram an LED-backlight HDTV in a home that is more than 6.5mm thick. Do not sneeze or breathe too hard on this. We have previously covered Samsung HDTV sets, which is scheduled to make an appearance in 2009, but this super slim one was not on the list, which means that the most likely prototype feed "thinnest HDTV" category, which is likely to order an exercise at CES 2009 this week. The current record holder for the thinnest HDTV Philips with 8mm LCD prototype that was shown in Berlin last year on the IFA electronics show. Sony, however, is the price to be thin second retail TV, a set of 9.9mm, which is already available on store shelves. At FPD International 2007 show in Japan this week, Samsung has introduced a new 40-inch diagonal Full HD LCD TV screen, which is an extremely thin, measuring at 10mm thick. The new thin-film transistor (TFT) LCD is the thinnest profile ever for a full-size HDTV. 10mm is the typical thickness of 20-inch LCD monitors, which usually is much thinner than normal HDTV sets.
