Refuted news paper reports about Pakistan's recent assertion that Ajmal Amir Kasab is dead, Maharashtra Home Minister Jayant Patil said Kasab is alive and in custody in Mumbai police. Pakistan has killed at reports that Kasab the lone terrorist arrested in 26/11 attacks may be dead.
Pakistan had said India for refusing to disclose all the DNA samples of Kasab and 9 others were killed in terrorist attacks. The report came even as Pakistan's envoy to Britain Wajid Shamsul Hasan asserted that the probe in the Mumbai attacks had shown no links to Pakistan. Per report Mumbai attacks were planned outside of Pakistan but the report does not say where the attacks were planned in reality.
But the official probe team would submit its report to the Ministry on Saturday. Norway had presented files asks Pakistan to extradite the Pakistani terrorists sought by Indian agencies investigating the body. India had maintained diplomatic pressure Pakistan to act against non state actors operating from soil based on the evidence India supplied to Pakistan.
