Due to Terrorist attack, BCC cancel India tour of Pakistan. Instead of this tour India went to Sri Lanka to play 5 one-days and one 20-20 match will held by Sri Lanka Cricket Board. India tour is totally confirmed and the team will reach in Dambulla, Sri Lanka on 24 January 2009. The tour was not fixed according the international cricket council.

The venues are all set to host the matches between India and Sri Lanka. The first two matches will be held at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Rangiri and the last three ODI with one Twenty20 international match at R.Premadasa Stadium (Khettarama), Colombo.
