Famous Bollywood Producer-director Prakash Mehra, Amitabh Bachchan, who had success with his first chain, 'passed away in a after a prolonged illness in Mumbai hospital on Sunday.
Mehra, the 69-year-old, who for the last few days in the hospital was my last breath at 0750 hours. Pneumonia and she died of multiple organ failure, hospital sources said.
Ironically, people in bad health Mehra a fortnight ago, came to know about, after Amitabh Bachchan in the hospital and visited him in his blog about this is mentioned.
The Mehra - Bachchan duo, the 'chain with the' early 70s, the industry, six of which were seven mega films - has started a hit.
Their last movie together was 'Jadugar' in 1989 which was a flop.The director-actor duo hits include 'Muqaddar Ka Sikander', 'Laawaris', 'Namak Halal', 'Sharabi' and 'Hera Pheri' apart from 'Zanjeer'.
