The Brit beauty often carpet off for her movies, including scenes in "Titanic" and "The Reader."
Men's magazine mogul Hefner wants to characteristic Winslet in Playboy, effective reporters: "There's no question we would be paying attention in Kate. It's a bloodthirsty market, more than it used to be, so she would be a most welcome addition in our pages."
But the actress has laughed off Hefner's proposition, insisting she won't be gracing the magazine's cover.
And when Web site TMZ.com told the actress of Hefner's offer, she replied: "I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't believe that for one second!"
