Grim Sleeper is a nickname for an unidentified serial killer in Los Angeles, California. Grim Sleeper is believed to be responsible for 11 murders and one attempted murder in Los Angeles since 1985. Los Angeles police have released 1987 emergency call in hopes of tracking down the Grim Sleeper, he has killed at least 11 times in nearly a quarter century.
Los Angeles detectives have been nearly assigned exclusively to the case. Grim Sleeper was most recently struck Jan. 1, 2007, and his first known victim was in 1985. Los Angeles police have a sample of his DNA and a description from a survivor a $500,000 reward. Los Angeles detective Dennis Kilcoyne said I am hoping a couple people call us. Maybe that will lead us to something. Police Authorities released a 9-1-1 recorded tape shortly after a killing in 1987, in the hope of producing clues.
