At least seven people were killed and 20 injured when a local passenger train on Wednesday Vyasarpadi northern suburb of Chennai in a goods train collided with the injured, an official said
"The accident happened a little before 6 am. Motormen who conducted the two trains are being identified demand," a Southern Railway spokesman told IANS.
He said that the wounded in general hospital near the central railway station was admitted.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be done.
